HSE Auditor

ASR International is seeking a 2-day on-site HSE Auditor in Covington, KY to support the execution of HSE compliance audits for an industrial site. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in EHS, including field inspection and management system auditing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in EHS, including field inspection and management system auditing
• Auditing and Inspection: Plan and conduct internal or external HSE audits, including site inspections, to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and compliance gaps
• Compliance Verification: Ensure adherence to OSHA, environmental laws, and company-specific HSE policies
• Documentation and Reporting: Review safety documents (e.g., permits, training records) and prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations
• Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify root causes and recommend preventive actions
• Risk Management: Lead or support risk assessments (e.g., HAZOP), emergency management requirements, and management of change (MOC) processes
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of hazardous material handling, fall protection, environmental regulations, and fire safety
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to report findings to senior management and proficiency in data management and software tools (MS Office suite proficiency is a must)
