Job Description
Join ASRC Federal's team as a Software Engineer and support the development and sustainment of the U.S. Navy's Aegis Weapons System. Responsibilities include developing software maintenance and upgrade solutions in a collaborative team using agile methodology.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field
- U.S. Citizenship with active US DoD Secret Security clearance
- 2-4 years' experience in software development, maintenance, or support
- Experience developing software with Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with Agile scaled principles
- Experience with Object Oriented design/development
- Experience working with Linux and UNIX environments
- Strong skills with Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as Eclipse
- Familiar with UML syntax and its use
- Familiar with driver-based and automated test environments
