The Inventory Control Specialist will administer inventory control procedures, investigate negative inventory quantities, and make recommendations based on findings. The role also assists with preparation and administration of cycle counting, production, purchasing, and accounting departments.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or some college coursework preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in Inventory Control, Manufacturing, or a related function
- Experience working with inventory systems (ERP/MRP) and inventory transactions preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Continuous learner with a focus on adaptability and process improvement
- Willingness to be visible on the shop floor and engage with team members daily
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to support cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. unassisted with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to safely move throughout the manufacturing floor
- Frequent use of computers, keyboards, tablets, scanners, or handheld devices
