Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer – Wireless Access control & IoT at ASSA ABLOY, a global technology leader in access solutions, responsible for designing and evolving embedded firmware for wireless access devices operating in constrained, security-critical environments, with a focus on reliability, performance, and security across real-world deployments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of expertise in embedded C development on ARM Cortex MCUs
• Solid experience with RTOS and/or bare-metal systems
• Strong background in firmware architecture work and specifications
• Proven track record in mentoring more junior developers
• Practical experience with CI/CD setup
• Experience with wireless communication technologies, ultra low-power optimisation, embedded security design and protocols, RFID/NFC technology, access control systems
