The Tool & Die Maker is responsible for designing, building, altering, and repairing a full range of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to support efficient, cost‐effective, and high‐quality production.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship required in order to be considered for this role.
- 3–5 years of experience working as a Tool & Die Maker.
- Ability to lift, move, or handle materials up to 35 lbs.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Advanced blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
- Ability to solve complex machining and tooling problems.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to make sound judgments related to quality and safety.
