Job Description
This Direct Support Professional (DSP) position provides 1:1 care to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community-based settings. The DSP focuses on supporting individuals in activities of daily living (ADLs), such as self-care, ambulation, and learning, promoting their independence and improving their quality of life. The position requires adherence to specific guidelines and training.
Requirements
- Adhere to Indiana Administrative Code (IAC) 460-6.
- Adhere to Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS), Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services (BDDS), and the Bureau of Quality Improvement Supports (BQIS) regulations.
- Ensure eligibility to provide RHS, DHI, RSPO, PAC, and Transportation services.
