Fire Sprinkler Technician

Associated Fire Protection is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience installing, maintaining, repairing, testing, fire protection sprinkler systems and equipment, with the ability to work in both NJ and NYC locations.

Requirements

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Experience working on fire protection systems and equipment is required
• NICET certifications preferred
• S12-S13 preferred and will be required
• OSHA 30 preferred
• Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
• Must be able to obtain any licenses or certifications as required in the area that you are working
• Perform simple tasks independently
• Excellent customer service skills
• Computer, phone and tablet literate
• Well organized, self-motivated, flexible and a team player
• Must be able to drive to and from jobs and have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
• Emergency Service shifts are a requirement for this job. Qualified candidates must be able to respond to NY emergency service calls
