Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Bulk Material Handling Design Engineer (Mechanical) to join our organisation in Chennai, India. In this permanent position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising bulk material handling systems and equipment.
Requirements
- Proficiency in mechanical design software BELT ANALYST and CAD software (AutoCAD, CATIA, or SolidWorks)
- Demonstrated experience in designing bulk material handling systems and equipment
- Strong knowledge of conveyor systems, hoppers, chutes, and storage solutions
- Solid understanding of material science and mechanical engineering principles
- Experience with technical documentation and preparation of engineering drawings
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and safety regulations
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
