Electrical Design Engineer – Cabling Layout

This is a hybrid role, with regular presence required in our Bristol office, as the technical lead for electrical cabling and layout contracts on a major nuclear project, coordinating with suppliers, designers, and client stakeholders to ensure compliant, high-quality electrical design delivery. We actively encourage applications from engineers in other highly regulated sectors who are keen to transition into nuclear and fusion environments.

Requirements

• Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline
• Knowledge of NFC15-100, NF C 13-200, BS7671, IEC 60909
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical cable products
• Experience reviewing cabling and cabinet design documentation
• Background in highly regulated industrial environments
• Experience interfacing with clients and equipment suppliers
