Assystem is an international engineering and project management group accelerating the energy transition worldwide. This is a hybrid, site-based role in Bridgwater that supports the delivery of materials, corrosion and coatings engineering on a major nuclear construction programme.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or closely related discipline
- Knowledge of corrosion modelling standards including ISO 9223 or BS 9295
- Experience supporting engineering activities within complex construction environments
- Experience producing engineering reports, technical documentation and assessments
- Experience with materials testing, characterisation or coating system evaluation
- Understanding of sustainable material selection principles within engineering projects
- Ability to review complex coating documentation and assess design implications
- Experience working with supplier documentation and engineering review processes
- Understanding of engineering configuration control and design change management
