Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Numerical modeler/ Coastal Engineer to join our team in Chennai, India. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and applying numerical models to analyze coastal processes, design of coastal structures, and assess the impacts of climate change on coastal environments.
Requirements
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Coastal Engineering, Marine Structures, Ocean Engineering, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in coastal engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in numerical modeling software such as MIKE, Delft3D, or SWAN
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, MATLAB, or R
- Excellent data analysis and visualization skills
- In-depth knowledge of coastal processes and hydrodynamics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel for field work and client meetings when required
