Senior Mechanical Engineer

Join the Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit as a Senior Mechanical Engineer to develop fluid systems, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with statutory H&S policies and project quality.

Requirements

• Industry experience in nuclear, thermal power, oil and gas, or other highly regulated sectors
• Background in fluid system design development
• Proficiency in design phases covering FEED to detailed design and EPC delivery
• Experience in procurement and developing procurement specifications
• Strong technical background in thermal power or similar projects
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders
• Ability to identify and manage critical interfaces on major projects
• Knowledge of UK Health and Safety regulations, safety systems, HAZOP, and engineering standards
• Familiarity with ASME, European, and UK codes and standards
• Experience or awareness in Systems Engineering
