AST is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III to provide manufacturing technical leadership and develop scalable manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will lead manufacturing technical support activities and ensure manufacturing readiness for new product launches.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 7+ years of experience working as a manufacturing engineer
- Proficiency with 3-D solid modeling software
- Highly skilled with reviewing engineering drawings and defining GD&T callouts
- Familiar with CNC processes and requirements
- Proficient with computer software such as MS Office, ERP Systems, AutoCAD, Solid Modeling, FEA, and motion analysis/simulations
- Highly skilled with various manufacturing processes
- Lead the identification and implementation of improvements to manufacturing processes
- Skilled with planning and organizing manufacturing projects and tracking progress
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced culture
- Self-driven with a drive to take initiative and work autonomously to achieve KPI’s
- Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians in process development and best practices
