Global Medical Affairs Lead position at Astellas in the UK, shaping and delivering global medical strategy for an oncology product, leading medical and scientific strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Solid experience in Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry
• Proven experience in leading medical affairs activities in a pharmaceutical company
• Ability to input into design and delivery of various phases of clinical trials, including the ability to critically review and analyse study designs
• Strong understanding of industry trends, the regulatory environment and market access challenges
• Experience in working in global matrix organizations collaborating with medical, clinical, regulatory, health economic & outcome research, epidemiology, medical information, commercial and other organisational partners to deliver results
• Solid scientific analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic capabilities, project management and planning and organisational skills
• Fluent in written and verbal business English
