
Job description
As a Mechatronics Engineering Intern, you will play an important role in the development of electronic and mechanical systems, assist with Continuous Improvement initiatives, and assist with the installation or modification of new and existing equipment. You will work closely with the Engineering team to design, develop, and implement projects to change manufacturing at Astemo Rock Spring into the future.
Assist in finding, testing, and implementing solutions for Automation within our organization, research Automation and Controls materials and best practices, understand and design wiring diagrams for new and existing equipment, and design and troubleshoot mechanical systems for manufacturing and automation.
This internship is ideal for a self-starter who is constantly looking for ways to improve or grow the company, with a strong willingness to learn and grow as an individual, and ability to work as a team and collaborate with other team members, ensuring the success of projects and improvements on time and on schedule.
