Role Overview

IPG interns contribute to meaningful engineering projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

What You Will Do

Design and develop mechanical concepts, CAD models, and detailed drawings for a precision tilting system, build and integrate mechanical, electrical, and control elements into a working prototype, and perform testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of system functionality.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This internship offers the opportunity to work on the development of a precision electromechanical system, supporting the project from concept generation through design, assembly, controls integration, and testing.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field
• Completed at least the 3rd year of an engineering degree program by the start of the internship
• Experience with CAD for mechanical design and drawing creation
• Hands-on experience building, assembling, or prototyping mechanical or electromechanical systems
• Programming experience in at least one relevant language such as C/C++ or Python
• Interest in controls, automation, HMI, or PLC-based systems
