Field Applications Engineer

Astera Labs is seeking a Principal Field Applications Engineer to support cloud service providers and server OEMs by designing solutions that use Astera Labs' connectivity products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-speed protocols, silicon/system bring-up, and lab equipment.

Requirements

• BS in electrical engineering (Master's degree in engineering preferred)
• Minimum of 8 years' experience working with cloud service providers and server OEM customers
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• Hands-on knowledge of high-speed protocols like PCIe & Ethernet
• Silicon/System bring-up and debug experience in customer systems
• Experience with lab equipment including protocol analyzers and oscilloscopes
• Strong background in high-speed board design techniques
• Intermediate level of proficiency in Python for automating system validation and link optimization
