Job Description
Astera Labs is seeking a Principal Firmware Engineer to develop firmware and microcontroller subsystems for their hardware products. This role involves implementing key differentiating features, focusing on customer needs, and ensuring seamless integration of hardware and software. The company provides rack-scale AI infrastructure through open standards.
Requirements
- Strong academic and technical background in electrical engineering.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience supporting or developing complex SoC/silicon products.
- Experience developing firmware to execute in on-chip microcontrollers and C-language software development.
- Experience working with logic designers to architect and verify HW-SW interfaces on complex SoCs.
- Professional attitude and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Authorized to work in the US.
