Job Description
This program offers therapeutic and behavioral support to elementary and middle school students who have faced previous school placements. Daily activities include individual, group, and family therapy, with documentation and communication with agencies. Experience with mental health is required and the position closely follows a Department of Education school schedule.
Requirements
- LMSW (or Limited Permit), LMHC, or LCSW licensure in New York State
- At least one year of experience working with K-8 students in a mental health and/or educational setting
- Outgoing personality with confidence handling challenging situations and people
