Job Description
Astranis is a satellite communications company building advanced satellites for a growing customer base. They are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design of sub-systems within the Avionics team for their satellites, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and driving innovation. The role involves designing, building, testing, and validating electronics for reliable and secure operations.
Requirements
- B.S. or higher in electrical or computer engineering, or similar technical degree
- 8+ years of professional experience with fast-paced product design cycles
- 8+ years of board level experience designing hardware from concept through production
- Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch
- Strong analog/mixed-signal circuit design skills
- 5+ years of experience with designing and implementing signal conditioning, sensors, electro-mechanical actuators, power switches, embedded computers, or such hardware
- Strong understanding of computers and knowledge of C, C++, or Python
- Radiation effects knowledge
- Environmental test experience
