Job Description
Astranis is a satellite communications company expanding humanity’s reach into the solar system with their 153,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Northern California. They are building software systems for automated testing, manufacturing, and real-time control of their spacecraft, servicing a backlog of over $1 billion of commercial contracts. They are looking for a highly capable Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development of internal tools and infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a full-stack software engineer (excluding internships)
- Strong Proficiency with React JavaScript/TypeScript and Python
- Experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks
- Experience working with relational/SQL databases (e.g. Postgres)
- Comfortable working in Linux, using shell tools and managing source control with Git
- Experience with SQL/relational databases (e.g., Postgres)
- Comfortable rapidly prototyping and fully developing user interface concepts with focus on overall user experience
- Experience deploying backend services to cloud environments
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized deployments
