Astranis builds advanced satellites for high orbits, expanding humanity's reach into the solar system. The company is seeking a Senior Network Operations Engineer to provide operations support for its satellite networks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in working in a Network Operations Center
- Knowledge of RF concepts and wireless frequency spectrum
- Knowledge of LAN and WAN networking concepts, including switching and routing
- Hands-on experience with Linux based servers
- Practical experience with scripting languages e.g. Bash, Python
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and effectively manage time
