Job Description
Astranis is seeking a Senior RF Design Engineer to design, simulate, and qualify active RF electronics for their high-orbit satellites. This role involves hardware development from requirements definition to manufacturing, working with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, and integrating systems into spacecraft. The company is the preferred satellite communications partner, servicing over 150,000 commercial contracts and employing a large team of engineers and entrepreneurs.
Requirements
- BS in electrical engineering, physics, applied physics, or equivalent
- 6+ years of experience
- Deep knowledge of fundamental RF concepts
- Hands-on experience in designing, building, and testing RF hardware for microwave frequencies
- Proven completion of product from concept to production
