General Repairer Specialist

Atalco Gramercy Operations is seeking General Repairer Specialists for its refinery in Gramercy, Louisiana. The position is permanent and involves performing maintenance on mechanical equipment, including installing, repairing, and replacing machinery within the plant area. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of at least two of the three crafting crafts (Pipefitting, Welding, and Millwright), and adherence to safety standards.

Requirements

• Preparation of materials and equipment.
• Installation, repair, assembly, and replacement of mechanical equipment.
• Performance of required rigging, burning, and welding.
• Maintenance of a clean and orderly work area.
• Adherence to hazard recognition, elevated work, lock out tag out procedures, and general safety.
