• Have strong technical knowledge
• Help the production team formulate solutions
• Develop the project's timeplan
• Lead the production process
• Supervise the project team
• Maintain project control
• Author project user manuals
• Generate periodic project status reports
• Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies
