The Data System Handling Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the Data Handling Subsystem, working with Satellite and Avionics engineering teams throughout the system development life-cycle.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electronic or Space Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Data Handling architecture
- Knowledge of Data interfaces (CAN/CANopen, SpW, SpaceFibre, HSSL, RS-422) and Data protocols (MIL1553, CCSDS packet, CCSDS/ECSS TM/TC, PUS, CFDP)
- Knowledge of ASW architecture for Multicore on-board computers
- Basic knowledge of the main design features and figures of merit of the AOCS units (Magnetometers, Magnetic Torquer, Star Trackers, Reaction Wheel, CMG, Sun Sensors)
- Knowledge of the HW and SW architecture of the on-board computer, TC decoder, TM encoder and Mass Memory, with focus on latest technology trends
- Knowledge of Space Segment DDV and AIV processes as defined by the ECSS
- Familiarity with SAVOIR is considered an asset
- A self-starter and highly motivated with strong organizational and communication skills
- Proactive attitude and ability to work in team and individuall
- Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the EU
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
