Job Description
Atkore is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the day-to-day activities of the Quality department for the Harvey Manufacturing and Shipping Operations. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or equivalent along with a minimum of 5-7 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or equivalent
- Minimum of 5-7 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) credential strongly preferred
- Knowledge of metrology, inspection methods, blueprint reading, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), manufacturing processes, tube-making process, fabrication process, carbon steel and steel slitting
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Standards and Quality Management Systems
- Knowledge of advanced statistical methods and experience with Six Sigma/Lean projects
- Proficiency in creating, conducting, and analyzing data
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Statistical Analysis Packages
