Job Description
Atkore is seeking a Quality Engineer to be based out of our New Bedford, MA facility. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations. Experience in lean manufacturing or a business system-based company is a requirement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science
- Minimum of 3 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) credential
- Familiarity with problem-solving tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inspection methods, gauging and measuring techniques
- Advanced statistical methods and experience with Six Sigma/Lean projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Good knowledge of quality management systems (ISO9001)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Statistical Analysis Packages
