Senior Cost Accountant

Atkore is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to support its New Bedford, MA manufacturing facility. The role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing plant standard costs and manufacturing variances, and supporting month-end close, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CMA preferred
• 5–7 years of accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing cost environment
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize financial systems and reporting tools
• JD Edwards (JDE) and/or Hyperion experience a plus
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently research and interpret financial data
• Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing or a business-system-driven organization preferred
