Certified Surgical Technologist - FT - Operating Room - 7A-8P - Morristown Medical Center

Certified Surgical Technologist position available at Morristown Medical Center. The role assists nursing personnel in giving quality care to patients in the Operating Room. Responsibilities include performing surgical scrub technique, assisting with counts of sponges and instruments, and maintaining a sterile field.

Requirements

• Perform duties and responsibilities of a scrub person under the direction of a registered, professional nurse
• Check and gather all instruments for each case in assigned room with use of surgeon's preference card
• Assist circulating nurse with counts of all sponges, laps, peanuts, cottonoids, needles, reels, vessels loops, umbilical tape, penrose drains, devices and instruments
