Job Description
Atlantic Health System is seeking a per-diem Medical Dispatcher I (Call Taker) to work for Ambulance part of Atlantic Health System. The dispatcher will be responsible for the intake and processing of all transport requests and scheduling transports and appointments to meet the patient and customers' needs.
Requirements
- Intake and processing of all transport requests
- Scheduling transports and appointments
- Utilizing multiple phone lines and computer screens
- Coordination with Dispatchers, Hospital Liaisons, Clients, Patients, Customer Service Coordinators, Social Workers and Hospital Staff
- Safety and detail-oriented individual
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
