Job Description
Our client has an opening in Middletown, CT for a Senior Electrical Engineer. This role is responsible for major electrical design determinations under the direction of the Project Manager.
Requirements
- Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with electrical systems
- BSEE or equivalent degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven design experience in the areas of building operation, energy use, and building electrical systems
- Must be able to use AutoCAD and Revit, for drafting and design to complete a project
- In-depth knowledge of Electrical Engineering codes, including NEC, NFPA 72 and 101
- Must be able to travel and visit work sites as necessary to the job at a time convenient for the clients, contractors, and building managers
- Maintain knowledge and skills in the particular area of expertise by attending conferences, reviewing scientific journal,s and participating in specific industry standards organizations such as NFPA, IES, etc.
- PE license strongly preferred
