Clinical Manager

The Clinical Manager will conduct clinic audits, lead clinical team meetings, and implement clinical protocols and guidelines to optimize patient care and increase clinical production. The role involves managing the clinical training and evaluation programs, overseeing the implementation of new services, and providing ongoing training and competency testing for clinical staff. Additionally, the Clinical Manager will ensure scheduling and performance of proper maintenance and calibration of all ophthalmic equipment, provide continuing education resources, and troubleshoot problems prior to surgery.

Requirements

• Five to 10 years of experience in ophthalmic practices
• A minimum of three years of administrative and managerial experience, increasing in complexity, including the supervision of clinical professionals
• Bachelors in related field or nursing degree preferred
• Certified ophthalmic medical technologist or licensed optometrist with appropriate experience considered
