Ukrainian–English Linguist / Translator

Atlas Advisors, LLC is seeking experienced Enhanced Linguists and Senior Linguists / Team Leaders to provide translation and interpretation services in support of the Government of Canada in Latvia. Linguists will work alongside multinational and government teams, delivering accurate translation and interpretation between English and Ukrainian in demanding, mission-focused environments.

Requirements

• Provide accurate and timely translation and interpretation between English and Ukrainian, both written and verbal
• Support multinational and host-nation teams during meetings and operational activities
• Facilitate communication in official briefings, planning sessions, and informal exchanges between international personnel
• Translate technical, multinational government, and administrative documents while maintaining fidelity, precision, and confidentiality
• Ensure cultural nuances are accurately conveyed to enhance understanding between English-speaking and Ukrainian counterparts
• Prepare reports, written summaries, and language support materials as directed by supervisors
• Be available to provide language assistance during extended hours, weekends, and in active conflict zones or support areas
• Collaborate with fellow linguists, government staff, and contractors to ensure consistent, reliable communication support across mission areas
