EHS Coordinator

The EHS Coordinator assists the EHS & operations team in achieving health and safety objectives, partnering with project management to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. Responsibilities include conducting EHS audits, providing expertise in accident investigations, and overseeing safety controls and emergency planning for battery energy storage systems. The role involves tracking and analyzing leading and lagging indicators, developing Emergency Action Plans, and adhering to company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
• 2–4 years of EHS experience in power generation, energy infrastructure, or heavy industrial operations
• Safety Professional Certification such as OHST, CHST, SMS, ASP, or CSP is a plus
• Minimum 2+ years of experience supporting electrical safety programs
• Familiarity with battery energy storage systems (BESS) or other high-energy storage technologies preferred
