The Staff Electrical Engineer serves as a senior technical authority responsible for system architecture, engineering governance, and complex power system decision-making across the organization’s power generation and microgrid portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10–15+ years of experience in power systems engineering, generation, or utility-scale electrical design.
- Demonstrated leadership in: Electrical system architecture, Generator control and integration, Construction documentation standards, Expert technical writing and documentation capability.
- Proven ability to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Expert-level experience with ETAP or SKM Power Tools.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in TX, NM, WY, or CO, or actively working toward licensure.
- Experience serving as Engineer of Record (EOR) or supporting stamped designs.
- Experience interfacing with utilities and regulatory authorities.
