Job Description
Surgical Technician responsible for selecting and placing surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgery. Prepares for surgical procedures, anticipates surgeon's needs, and demonstrates aseptic technique and universal precautions throughout the procedure.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- BLS required
- Manual dexterity and ability to maintain professional decorum in highly stressful emergent situations
- Conscientious, organized, and orderly with ability to respond quickly to surgeon and patient needs
