Service Technician 1-Sr. Service Technician

Performs basic work using clearly prescribed procedures. Responds to customer requests for service, installs, programs, and operates Wireless Meter Reading (WMR) equipment, and assists with activities to assure responsiveness to natural gas and other emergencies.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
• Ability to lift and carry 45 pounds from the ground to 42 inches
• Ability to lift 53 pounds from the ground to 52 inches
• Ability to generate 95-foot pounds of force at a contact point of 70 inches
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch
• Ability to walk a distance of 500 feet
• Acute sense of sight and hearing (corrected or uncorrected) and strong sense of smell
