Job Description
A Young Offenders Institute in Middlesex is looking for experienced and qualified Vocational Subject Teachers to help troubled young people aged 15-18. You will be able to see beyond their behaviour and find new ways to connect and teach them.
Requirements
- Previous teaching experience
- Relevant teaching or training qualification (FE or QTS) or prior experience in an apprenticed profession
- Knowledge of Bricklaying, Painting and Decorating, Motor Mechanics, Plumbing, Tiling, Carpentry and Horticulture
- Experience of teaching young people, ideally in a mainstream learning environment or in a secure setting
