Cognos Developer

AG specializes in staffing, consulting, and software development services to small to medium size companies, providing expertise in enterprise resource planning, application integration, and more. We are seeking a Cognos Developer to join our team.

Requirements

• Analyzes, designs and develops board room quality Cognos models, reports, and dashboards.
• Tests and troubleshoots issues as they arise.
• Works closely with data modelers to build and support the IBM Cognos metadata models.
• Develops and implements interactive dashboards to help drive business decisions.
• Understands business requirements and translates them into high quality Cognos report deliverables.
• Monitors and responds to different tickets/defects.
• Expert in SQL including performance tuning.
• Troubleshoots/resolves help desk tickets in accordance with all SLA established timeframes.
• Manages/handles deployments into UAT and production environments.
• Excellent spoken and communication skills.
• Excellent planning and task-tracking skills.
• Excellent analysis and assessment of business needs and cross-system impacts.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project and Visio.
• Capable in SQL data analysis and programming interpretation.
• Excellent team-play skills, able to work in fast-paced environment on multiple projects/jobs concurrently.
