Requirements

• Sound Knowledge of Vertica Architecture
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of database internals and data structures
• Hands-on implementation with at-least two E2E Vertica Implementations
• Experience in installing and maintaining Vertica clusters and implementing backup and recovery processes
• Experience in Performance Tuning in Vertica
• Strong data migration experience from Oracle, Teradata to Vertica
• Hands-on experience with database optimization, tuning DBA specific activities for Vertica
• Experience with ETL and Data Warehouse systems
• Good communication skills
