Job Description
The Director of Oncology Research will provide strategic direction, develop and communicate vision for the department, and ensure research operations meet requirements of the FDA, IRB, and OHRP. This role involves budget management, workload monitoring, regulatory compliance, and reporting to executive stakeholders. The position requires expertise in GCP, ICH, and FDA regulations and the ability to manage a clinical trial department.
Requirements
- Demonstrates expert knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
- Knowledge of International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) Guidelines
- Knowledge of FDA regulations
- RN license and current NC Board of Nursing license (preferred)
- Current CPR certification (required)
- Bachelor's Degree required, health/science preferred
- 15+ years of directly-related clinical trials experience
- Management experience required
- Oncology experience required
