Job Description
Atrium Health is seeking Experienced Orthopedic PA's for their Orthopedic and Musculoskeletal team in Charlotte, NC. The role involves providing surgical and medical care, participating in patient evaluation and treatment, and assisting in OR operations. Requirements
- Assist in the management of hand surgery and general orthopedic injuries/conditions
- Participate in the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic cases
- Perform splinting, bracing, casting, orthopedic injections/aspirations and local wound care
- Assist in OR procedures for elective/urgent/emergent cases
- Assist in clinic and patient post-operative care
- Manage post-operative care in the hospital and clinical setting
- Facilitate discharge and disposition of orthopedic in-patients
- Increase orthopedic knowledge through educational opportunities
- BLS certification is required (with valid expiration date)
