Nurse Practitioner Specialty Care Conventional-Medical Oncology

Atrium Health Navicent Medical Group is seeking a Medical Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join their medical group. This role focuses on providing high-quality patient care including coordination of clinical and administrative activities. The Nurse Practitioner will focus on various clinical duties, including performing medical and surgical procedures as qualified and ordering/interpreting tests, as well as completing medical record documentation.

Requirements

• Provide high-quality patient care including collection of medical history, physical exams, assessment, and treatment plan development
• Perform medical and/or surgical procedures as qualified
• Order and interpret laboratory/radiographic tests
• Write prescriptions and administer medications
• Maintain knowledge of growth/development principles and appropriate patient care skills
• Complete all medical record documentation
• Demonstrate proficiency in documentation and billing processes
• Understand and comply with federal and state coding policies
• Ensure patient safety and advocate for patient needs
• Maintain patient confidentiality
