Automation Engineer

The Automation Engineer will participate in the design and implementation of complex industrial automation solutions across multiple technologies and platforms. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver professional automation solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with the deployment of industrial automation solutions
• Experience with the design and deployment of industrial network infrastructure and IIoT solutions
• Technical knowledge and practical experience with at least one industrial platform solution from Rockwell, Aveva or Siemens
• Familiar with agile software development methodologies
• Knowledgeable in relational databases and programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Functional Block Diagram, Structured Text, Python, C#/C++, MS SQL, etc.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Good communicator, fluent in English, spoken and written
• Experience with the regulated industry requirements
• Willing to travel to manufacturing/customer sites when required
