The Controls Engineer IV develops electrical designs for automated equipment, programs hardware and software, and leads the engineering team. The role involves designing and developing controls architecture, programming control and vision systems, and ensuring electrical designs are functional and cost-effective.
Requirements
- College degree in electrical engineering, engineering-related field, or equivalent experience
- Six (6+) or more years of automation experience
- Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC's, HMI's, Servo control, electrical design, and machine vision systems
- Average skill level as defined by the Controls Engineering Skills Matrix
- Proficient with computers, including programs such as ePlan, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Office suite, etc.
