Job Description
The E&I Technician ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of industrial electrical and control systems throughout the facility.
Requirements
- Adhere to all safety procedures, policies, and electrical standards.
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure.
- Read and interpret electrical codes, manuals, schematics, diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, computers, and electrical test equipment to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Perform routine, biweekly, and metered preventive maintenance (PM) tasks.
- Support equipment reliability improvements through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Document repair activities, inspections, and maintenance work accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve equipment and process issues.
- Participate in the Cert Card Program and maintain required skill levels for continued progression.
- Assist with startup, shutdown, and new equipment installation projects as needed.
- Follow all company policies regarding safety, quality, and housekeeping.
