Job Description
As a Lead Civil Engineer, you will be a vital part of the Power Generation team at Aurecon, working on substation projects and contributing to the successful planning, design, and execution of substation infrastructure. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to undertake concept and detailed design of large scale HV infrastructure and develop and review detailed civil engineering designs.
Requirements
- Minimum Australian recognised Bachelorâs degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional registrations such as CPEng, NER, RPEQ or equivalent
- Proven design experience within the energy (power utility) sector with a focus on bulk earthworks, roads and drainage
- Previous experience working on substation, transmission and distribution projects
- Strong understanding of civil modelling and relevant design software (e.g. Civil 3D/12D)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the willingness and ability to collaborate and develop team capabilities
