Senior Mechanical Engineer, Water Utilities

Aurecon is a leading international engineering, design and advisory company seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Water team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and contributing to the detailed design delivery of mechanical systems for water infrastructure projects, and will have a genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and a desire to continuously learn and shape the future.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design for water infrastructure projects
• Previous technical experience in one or more of the following areas: Fluid hydraulics, Water / wastewater treatment facilities, Water / wastewater pumping stations, Pipework design
• Proven experience in design consulting or engineering services, preferably within the water utilities sector
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) is an advantage
