Senior Software Engineering Manager - Dispatching & Partner Integrations

Aurora is searching for an exceptional Senior Engineering Manager to join the Aurora Services Engineering team and take on a critical leadership role in building Aurora's suite of fleet management tools. As the Senior Engineering Manager for the Dispatching & Partner Integrations team, you will lead a team of 8-10 engineers to own the design, implementation, and operation of solutions for Autonomous Vehicle Fleet Management and Partner API integrations.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 10+ years of industry experience in software development, including 5+ years of direct experience as an Engineering Manager leading a team of 5+ engineers
• Deep expertise in cloud backend development, including scalable web services, distributed systems, and modern API design
• Experience with external customer facing software including production rollout with real customers
• Phenomenal communication skills, with the capacity to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
